News:
- A reports page has been added
to the site. Here you will find links to the new licenses and license counts (updated at least
weekly) as well as the net activity reports that I get in (updated as soon as the information
has been provided).
- If you are not aware, there are groups.io sites you may be interested in: VT-ARES and NFMRA. Both require you to
apply to join.
- The ICS 213 messages read over the air will be getting their own place on the site. In addition,
I have created a YouTube channel on which you will find these to listen to, in order to get in
the practice. To make it interesting, I am planning to add in static of various levels so people
can see how much noise they can have and still read the message. This should all be in place in
the next couple of weeks.
- I found an interesting training to turn ICS form messages in to NTS traffic. You can learn more
here. Please note I
am learning that not all places engage NTS during emergencies.
- Contests posted by ARRL can be found under the Events tag in the calendar. August is up and the
rest will be added soon.
